In details, the disc directly keyed to the centre of the rim of the wheel enable us to put the braking torque in the best position: as close as possible to where it is more useful, that is the surface of contact between the wheel/tyre and the ground. Our system is different from the traditional one where the braking power, applied to the disc, must be conveyed to the hub through the spider disc and from the hub to the spoke and then to the rim.
Moreover the system allow a wide range of pincers arrangements around the braking band due to the passage of the brake oil through the wheel hub ( with aeronautic-type joint in the lower part of the foot of the fork).
This lead to a wide choice of different configurations of the braking, considerable power, balance, capacity of being modulated and a reduced gyroscopic effect. The dismantle of the wheel is quick and simple. The little foots of the fork are made of 2 parts: one is joint to the upper part of the fork and the other is joint to the wheel hub. Twisting off the screws of each foot you get an immediate dismantle of the system (rim and complete brake system).
One more advantage of our system is the possibility to change the tyre together with the new braking system. Once you have the system dismantled you can work the tyre as in a traditional system.
